Samurai Ceramics is the sole provider of this exclusive 5-year general Performance Guarantee under the terms, conditions and exclusions listed below. If you decide to maintain your Samurai Ceramics coating with a Samurai Ceramics Rejuvenation Program, a further 5 years will be added to the Performance Guarantee, please refer to the website Rejuvenation Program.

Samurai Ceramics guarantees that this product will shield the treated substrate from the following: weather-induced discoloration, fading, oxidization and gloss degradation, damage from water marks, UV damage, tree sap, leaf stains, bug splatter, animal / bird droppings, and road grime.

When a legitimate Performance Guarantee claim is filed, Samurai Ceramics will provide at no cost to the customer, enough product to cover the defective area (minimum one bottle). Performance Guarantee claims concerning incorrect preparation and or application of the product will be judged on a case-by-case basis and settled at Samurai Ceramics discretion. Vehicles exceeding their first registration more than 60 months before application of the Ceramics product are not covered by this Performance Guarantee.

Exclusions from warranties:

Any damage to the applied substrate resulting from a collision, stone chipping, rust, scratches, substrate delamination (lifting of the clear coat), vandalism (such as egg damage), abrasions or damage caused by the treated surface coming into contact with acids, dyes, oil-based substrates, bleaches, or ammonia-based products;
Swirl marks, wash webbing, and surface scratches as a result of abrasive car washing;
Vehicle panels that have been changed, resprayed, or replaced without the Samurai Ceramic product being correctly reapplied;
Substrate flaws resulting from inadequate repairs to the vehicle's panels;
Noncompliance with the schedule of maintenance.
Any parts of the vehicle that have been altered after the product has been applied (such as the addition of decals, stickers, or magnetic signage); Or the addition of attachments (such as side skirts, spoilers, canopies, and Ute lids);
Non registration of the Performance Guarantee;
Any harm done to the substrate as a result of polishing, waxing, or buffing the substrate;
Any harm done to the substrate as a result of cleaning the substrate with bore water or any other non-PH neutral agent;
Faulty application of the product.

Conditions and terms:

1. Within 30 days of the problem developing, a claim under this Performance Guarantee must be filed in compliance with the guidelines outlined below

2. The original buyer of this product whose information is specified on the guarantee card is the only person to whom this Performance Guarantee is applicable; this Performance Guarantee is non-transferable.

3. For any questions regarding this conditional Performance Guarantee or its reapplication or to schedule a reapplication, please contact Samurai Ceramics or your certified installer.

Making a Claim - How to Proceed

1. Within 30 days of finding a problem with your Ceramics coating, contact Samurai Ceramics or your certified ceramic installer to schedule an inspection.

2. The assessor will need to see your original Performance Guarantee card and your tax invoice as proof of purchase while the claim is being assessed.

3. After the inspection has been completed, and if the Performance Guarantee claim assessed as legitimate, the assessor will schedule a time convenient for both parties at a location of it’s choosing to honor the claim.

4. The expense of claiming this Performance Guarantee, including the price of having the car delivered to and or picked up from the designated site, is the responsibility of the claimant.

Note: If the reported problem is not related to the product, there will be a call-out cost for the assessment. Under this guarantee, Samurai Ceramics will not be liable for any other costs, such as lost time, usage of the vehicle, rental car expenses, or transportation costs.

According to Australian Consumer Law, there are warranties attached to our products that cannot be removed. If there is a significant malfunction of the product, you are entitled to a replacement or refund and payment for any further loss or damage that was reasonably foreseeable.

In the event that the merchandise is faulty and does not constitute a major failure, you also have the right to have the area repaired or product replaced.

Schedule of maintenance:

Do not wash the coated surface for the first three days after application, then use only clear water and avoid using car washes or shampoos for the next 4 days. This will allow the treated surface to cure over a one-week period.

• Use a PH-neutral car wash or shampoo to wash the coated surface as needed. In warmer climates, let the surface cool before washing (spray water over the surface to cool). Wash the coated surface in a cool, shaded spot. Water spotting generally results from washing agents evaporating too quickly on heated surfaces. Before washing, give your car a good hose-down to remove any loose mud, dust, or dirt. Pay attention to the directions on the bottle of shampoo or vehicle wash (most brands only call for two capfuls in a 10-letre pail of warm water). Use a clean, high-quality sponge. Wash each panel separately, and then thoroughly rinse with clean water. Regularly rinse the sponge with clean water to avoid the sponge being clogged with dirt and contaminants, which can cause scratches and swirl marks on the surface. Use a high-quality chamois to dry your car for the best outcomes.

• Avoid using any abrasive waxes, polishes, or cleaning agents on the coated surface as they may contain solvents, heavy degreasing agents. The coating's lifespan could be shortened by using these materials.

• Eliminate environmental pollutants as quickly as you can to counteract their corrosive effects, such as tree sap, insect spatter and bird droppings. After directly applying the PH-neutral car wash or shampoo (do not dilute), let the contamination soften, and then follow the aforementioned washing recommendations. To remove such pollutants, never use anything abrasive, such as brushes, scorers, or fingernails.

• Avoid using an automatic wash station that employs brushes or other abrasive cleaning methods as this might cause swirl marks and scratches.

• The same Ceramics product needs to be reapplied to your vehicle's panels if they are repaired, or otherwise altered. For any questions regarding reapplication or to schedule reapplication, please contact the Samurai Ceramics through the website or speak with your certified Samurai installer.

Maintenance Recommendation:

We highly recommend you secure your 10-year Performance Guarantee by participating in the Samurai Ceramics Maintenance Program. Please enquire through our website or ask one of our Certified Samurai product installers.
